Summer Reading Programs for kids in Utah
Summer break doesn't have to mean an end to learning. There are many companies that offer kids incentives to read by giving them bonus freebies. Here's a list of awesome FREE Summer Reading Programs we found. Please feel free to leave a comment with any we might have missed.
Read Today: In conjunction with the Salt Lake Bees. Kids read 20 minutes a day fill in the form by coloring in the baseballs. Each time they round to the next base they get a prize that includes a pencil, a free book, a Happy Meal and when they hit home they get two free ticket to see the Bees play. Full details>>
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading: Kids earn a free book when they read 8 books through August 31. Full details>>
Chuck E. Cheese: Kids will earn 10 FREE tokens every time they read for 2 weeks in a row. Just fill out the form and bring it in to claim your free token. There are also several more charts kids can complete for more tokens. Full details>>
Utah State Fair Read and Win: Kids must read 10 books between April 1 and July 10 and return the form (must be postmarked on or before July 10) to receive special goodies from the State Fair. For grades 1st – 6th. Included is a free admission pass, concession coupon and more. Full details>>
Scholastic Summer Challenge: Offers a chance for kids to log their reading times into their system to compete for reading streaks and earn rewards and unlock book donations from May 4 – Sept. 4, 2020. Details>>

Join us at 10:30 for our Summer Reading Kick off Party! Bounce house and carnival games. No registration is required. This program is free. All are welcome.
This is awesome! We run a center in Kaysville to help children struggling with learning challenges and academics. I’m going to share this with our parents this weekend so they can help their children to have motivation this summer. Awesome post!
