Christmas lights in Kearns

When we went there were kids hanging out windows, looking out open sunroofs and in the bed of trucks. The display takes about 30 - 40 minutes to drive through and I highly suggest you TAKE YOUR TIME going through. There are lots of fun displays that are neat to look at with the different music.

Last, I have been asked multiple times if the Christmas in Color light display is worth the cost. For me this is one of those extravagant things that you have to judge on your own depending on your circumstances. I believe this display will get bigger and become a family tradition for many Utah families. It is spectacular. I personally was not disappointed.

  1. Mom and I went to the South Jordan location, and were totally dissapointed. Especially with the price. $37! Are you kidding me? Last year I believe we paid $20. Also, part of the website to buy tickets still says $25. Why in the world would anyone charge so much for this? In my opinion last year's display was so much better. Seems like there was more decorations, certainly more diversity, and more vivid colors or something. This year's presentation was fun for a minute, then it started to look the same. There wasn't anything that resembled old fashioned Christmas decorations, and nothing to indicate that anyone is celebrating the birth of Jesus. There wasn't even stars on top of the trees, they were snowflakes. The music loops too quickly, we heard all the same songs twice, and the Santa bits were too frequent, and frankly obnoxious. This is the time of year where many people attempt to assist the less fortunate, not blatantly rip them off. It was Pumkin Nights all over again. For as much as we paid, we should have gotten free hot chocolate and homemade goodies, and free photos with Santa, or something that could justify that ridiculous fee. I'm so embarrassed that we spent so much on something so lame. The attendant told me if I wasn't happy with the experience I can go to the website and ask for my money back. I'm not sure if I'm on the right site, but I am formally requesting a refund of $37. Thank You, and Merry Christmas. Tammie Christensen Sandy, Utah

  5. We went and this was an absolutely fun time. When we first pulled up and you can see it we were a little disappinted. But then you pull in and set ur radio station to their frequency and it was amazing!!! We drove through it very slowly to enjoy every moment of it. You wont be disppointed.
    • Yes, I thought so too. There are so many fun little set ups. You defiantly have to go really slow to get the full effect. I felt like I got my $20 worth.
