There's a huge Christmas light display in South Jordan and in Provo. The South Jordan location is located at the SJ Equestrian Park at 2100 W 11400 S. The Provo location is 4400 Center Street. (The South Jordan location is new and replaces the Kearns location from last year.)
Christmas in Color
The light displays has over 1 million synchronized lights along a mile long winding road. The video above is one of 3 Tunnels. The display will run through December 30, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and is closed on Sunday.
How to save on admission:
Deal #2: Happy Hour is available Mon-Thurs from 5:30-6:30 pm. Happy Hour is only valid on the same day of event booking within the hours of 5:30-6:30 pm. You can opt to see the show twice within the happy hour or bring a 2nd vehicle with you and they’ll get in free. Vehicles must arrive at the same time, no redemption code necessary. Simply arrive and tell us whether you want to see it twice or if you brought a 2nd vehicle with you. Promotion not valid Dec. 18th – Dec.21st.
Consider going in with another family. You might consider parking nearby and then all pile in one car. There is no limit on the number of occupants per vehicle, but keep in mind that vehicle height is limited to 10 feet because of the tunnels. Due to the tight corning Buses, limos and trailers are prohibited.
When we went there were kids hanging out windows, looking out open sunroofs and in the bed of trucks. The display takes about 30 - 40 minutes to drive through and I highly suggest you TAKE YOUR TIME going through. There are lots of fun displays that are neat to look at with the different music.
Last, I have been asked multiple times if the Christmas in Color light display is worth the cost. For me this is one of those extravagant things that you have to judge on your own depending on your circumstances. I believe this display will get bigger and become a family tradition for many Utah families. It is spectacular. I personally was not disappointed that I shelled out the $20 and enjoyed the show very much! I am looking forward to next year's display.
