Deer Valley Free Scenic Lift for Locals (Park City) – Weekends (Fri-Sun) until September 24. Weather permitting.
Scarecrow Walk Along the River (Bluffdale) – Thru Sep 30; For the entire month, you can walk or bike along the 5 miles of the Jordan River Parkway trail and see the creatively dressed-up scarecrows.
Santa Clara Swiss Days – Sep 21-23; parade, antique cars, live animals and more.
Wings and Wheels: Utah's Festival of Speed (Spanish Fork) – Sep 22-23 at Spanish Fork Airport. Food trucks, helicopter rides, skydivers, exotic car runaway attack, and more. Tickets $8
Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show (Mount Carmel) – Sep 22-23 at Thunderbird Golf Course.
Witchfest (West Jordan) – Sep 22-October; the witches at Gardner Village will be on display.
Car Show (Provo) – Sep 22 from 5-8 pm at Center Street. Live music, games, vendors, and more!
Open Streets (Salt Lake) – Sep 22-23 at Main Street. Restaurants, bars and shops between 400 South and South Temple will extend their service onto the sidewalks. Musicians and other artists will welcome everyone each night.
Sugar High Dessert Festival (Sandy) – Sep 23 at Mountain America Expo Center. Access to Utah's best desserts in on place. Tickets are $5 ($10 at the door) or $49 for VIP (includes 30 dessert tastings).
Petapalooza (Murray) – Sep 23 from 9 am – 4 pm at Wheeler Farm. There will be food trucks, free microchips for any pet living in SL County, pet psychic and more!
Big Dig (Construction vs Cancer) (Kaysville) – Sep 23 from 11 am – 3 pm at Davis Applied Technology College. Families will have the opportunity for their kids to operate real construction machinery (with the assistance of an adult volunteer) in a fun, fair-like, atmosphere. We will have bounce houses, music, face painting and so much more!
Fall Festival (Taylorsville) – Sep 23 from 10 am – 1 pm at Bennion Heritage Center. Children’s activities, community booths, a pumpkin decorating contest, quilt show, tractor display, and more!
Get to the River Festival (Salt Lake) – Sep 23 from 10 am – 3 pm at Tracy Aviary Jordan River Nature Center. Includes bird walks, paint the parkway, story time, snacks, crafts and more.
Traverse Mountain Shopping Extravaganza (Lehi) – Sep 23 from 10 am – 4 pm at Outlets at Traverse Mountain. General admission tickets $25
Walking for Gold Charity Fashion Show (West Jordan) – Sep 23 from 4:30-7 pm the Viridian Center. Fashion show that celebrates local designers and brings the community together in order to raise money, with support from the Millie’s Princess Foundation, to donate to a child who is fighting cancer. Tickets $25-$45
Fall Foods & Grooves (Provo) – Sep 23 from 5-8pm at Veterans Memorial Park. Food trucks and live music.
Free Entrance Day at National Park – Sep 23 Admission is free
Snowbird Oktoberfest Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. The highly-anticipated festival begins late-August and lasts through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, along with Labor Day.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge
