Wha Hoo!! We got some pics from Afghanistan today! Look what the guys are doing, opening our care packages!
For those of you that don't know, my son in law is currently serving as a Corpsman in the 3rd Marine Battalion, 3rd Division Weapons company in Afghanistan. And, we are so excited to to have received some pictures today.
If you are putting a care package together for our troops you will love to see these pictures!
Our guy tells us the things they need most:
Pens, Markers, Crayons, Paper & Beanie Babies – This unit provides medical treatment for kids and those items are hot in demand!
Flashlights – I haven't mentioned Harbor Freight in a while, but the last 3 newspapers have all had FREE flashlight coupons in them.
Drink Mixes –The individual tubes like Crystal Light and Propel. (Think of this – it's over 110 degrees and no refrigerated water)
“Real Food” – Tuna, Crackers, Candy, Cookies, Energy Bars.
Most Importantly, they love our cards and letters!
