The Utah Grizzlies are offering some discounts for Grizzlies ticket starting for as low as $12.00 depending on section. Go here for details.

2014 Intermountain Classic – January 30 – February 2 at the Utah Olympic Oval (5662 S 4800 W). Experience a figure skating competition showcasing all levels of figure skaters throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Free to the public, competition times vary.

Snowbird Winter Family Flicks – Free family flicks every Friday evening at 7 pm in The Atrium Restaurant thru March 28.

Fire & Ice Festival – Saturday, February 1 from 4-9 pm at The Shops at Riverwood in Provo. There will be ice sculpting, live reindeer, fireknife dancing, ice fishing for kids, live entertainment, fireworks at 8 pm and more. This event is free. There will be s'mores for a cost, however, for each two cans of non-perishable food donated, s’mores ingredients for one s’more will be provided (limit one s'more per person).

Winterfest – Saturday, February 1 from 11 am – 4 pm at East Canyon State Park. Learn to snowshoe, cross-country ski, snowmobile, sled and ice fish. Activities are free, however, there is a $10 per vehicle entrance fee or donate a new or lightly used children's coat and the entrance fee is just $5.

Utah Chinese New Year Celebration – Saturday, February 1 at 7 pm at Cottonwood High School. Enjoy colorful Chinese performances. Admission is free.

Murray Concert Band – Saturday, February 1 at 7:30 pm at Murray High School (5440 S State St). This is a Free concert.

Discovery Gateway – is offering their $5 Fun Days. Get $5 admission per person for up to 4 people after 5 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and all day Sundays. Expires the end of January.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in January at BYU Museum of Art – Monika Bravo: Landscape of Belief. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
