The Utah Grizzlies The Grizzlies return home after Christmas for more holiday fun on December 28th. There will be a post-game skate with the team, skate rentals will be $2 and we will be giving out team calendars to fans in attendance.

Celebrate New Years with the Grizzlies at The Maverik Center Tuesday December 31st at 6pm. Cheer the Grizzlies on towards a New Years Eve victory. There will be a special of $2 hot dogs, $2 fries, $2 soft drinks and $2 draft beers.

Trees of Diversity – November 21 – December 31 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (1355 W 3100 S). The Trees of Diversity exhibit showcases not only decorated trees, but also gingerbread houses, wreaths, nativities and other holiday scenes. Bring the family on November 21 for the official opening reception and enjoy more than 25 trees decorated by different ethnic arts groups from throughout the valley. Refreshments and music will also be provided. This is a free event.

U.S. Olympic Team Trials – December 28 & 29 at Utah Olympic Park in Park City. The Road to Sochi Tour will feature tryouts for the U.S.A. teams for the Nordic Combined & Ski Jumping. The Road to Sochi Interactive Fan Zone will be open to the public. Try out winter sports, visit with Olympic athletes and stay warm by jamming with live entertainment. Free Admission.

Road to Sochi Tour – Saturday, December 28 at 11 am at Olympic Park in Park City. Celebrate the upcoming Winter Olympics for your chance to meet some athletes as well as try your hand at some Olympic and Paralympic events. Includes events such as curling strip, hockey slap shot test, ski jump, street luge ramp, cross-country roller ski course and more. Admission is Free

Sundance Resort Holiday Film Screenings – December 26 -31. All screenings are complimentary to Sundance Guests and to the general public on a first come first served basis. Screenings are held in the Sundance Screening Room Theater.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in October at BYU Museum of Art – Monika Bravo: Landscape of Belief. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.

New Years Eve Events:

Solitude Childrens Glow Parade – Monday, December 30. Parade starts around 6:00. Free hot chocolate and treats from Whole Foods for all participants following the parade.

Deer Valley Torchlight Parade – Monday, December 30. The Torchlight Parade will be held on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, behind Snow Park Lodge. Complimentary hot cider and cookies will be served on the Snow Park Plaza.

Noon Year's Eve (Provo) – Tuesday, December 31 at 11 am – 1 pm at Provo Beach. This family-friendly celebration gives kids the opportunity to have all the fun of New Year’s Eve (before their bedtime), including interactive entertainment, prizes and jamming to songs.

EVE SLC – 3 days of the event at Downtown Salt Lake. Enjoy art exhibits, music, film screenings, and comedy shows at venues from Clark Planetarium to Off Broadway Theater. The event even stretches into the sky, with jaw-dropping fireworks displays. Hopefully you were able to get a discount here (no longer available).

New Year's Eve on Temple Square – December 30 & 31 at Temple Square. There will be Free entertainment and activities (no EVE passes required).

Provo New Years – December 31 at Provo Towne Centre. include live bands,Comedy Sportz, hot air balloons show, concessions, New Years crafts, professional face painters, laser tag, balloon artists, performers, karaoke, photo booths, entertainment and fireworks. Admission is $5/adult and $4/youth ($1 off for advance purchase).

NYE 2014 Taboo Experience with Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas at Park City – December 31 at Park City Live. Rapper and member of The Black Eyed Peas rings in the New Year with a live performance & a DJ set, alongside the 10-ft-tall robotic Kryoman. Tickets are $80, however Groupon has discount tickets for as low as $40 when you purchase four.

Delta City New Year's Eve – December 31 at Millard County Rodeo. Entertainment begins at 7pm. Admission is free.

Snowbird New Years Eve Torchlight Parade – December 31 at 6 pm with bonfires, torchlight parade and fireworks.
