Festivals & Fairs:
Homestead Fall Festival (Midway) – Saturday, Oct. 20 from 11am-4pm at the Homestead. Experience horse-drawn hay rides, a precious pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, hot cider, pumpkin fudge, fall barbecue, storytelling and more.
Sunset Festival (Salt Lake) – The Gateway Mall, Wasatch Front Farmers Market and FM100 are partnering to provide The Gateway's Sunset Festival ever Saturday in October from 3-7pm. There will be live music, artisans, crafters, sidewalk sales, demos, sampling and more. Free concerts at the Plaza from 4-6pm. Free Parking Validation will also be available at The Gateway and FM100 booths.

David Halliday & the Jazz Vespers Quartet – Friday, October 19 from 7:30-9pm at the Gallivan Amphitheater. This is a FREE Concert.
Snowbird Customer Appreciation Day – October 18-21 from 11 am – 5pm. Receive a FREE tram ride with a can of food for the Utah Food Bank. Don’t you just love it when the coupon is a can of food?! Cash donations will benefit the Wasatch Adaptive Sports program.
Hogle Zoo's Enchanted Evening – Friday, Oct 19 & Saturday, Oct 20 from 7:30-9:30pm. $10 per person. Enjoy a guided tour of the Zoo after dark and a special encounter with Spiderella. Come dressed in costume.
Ogden Nature Center Creatures of the Night – October 19 & 20 from 5-8pm (966 W 12th Street, Ogden). $5 members/$6 non-members. Learn about native nocturnal creatures, sing songs, carnival games, treats, educational fun and more.
Gardner Village Witch Displays – Shop and see their hilarious display of plump, green-faced, wart covered witches dressed to the nines. Print off a Scavenger Hunt for the kids and take the completed paper to the Neborhood Baker to get a cookie for only $0.35. Also, check out all the fun at Gardner Village such as Breakfast with a Witch, Witchapalooze Music Dinner Theater and more.
Pumpkin Regatta – Saturday, Oct 20 from 12 pm-2 pm at Sugar House Park (2100 S 1500 E). Captains of 900 to 1500 lb pumpkins will row their way into the record books. This is a free event where spectators can take pictures with and even ride i the biggest pumpkins. There will be prizes for participants and spectators.
Davis County Symphony Halloween Concert – Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7pm at North Salt Lake City Hall (10 E Center Street). Admission is FREE. Dress up in your favorite costume and join the symphony as they perform an evening of spooktacular Halloween music followed by indoor trick-or-treating.
The Utah Museum of Fine Arts offers FREE admission every 3rd Saturday of the month. This Saturday, October 20 you can make a mask.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in October at BYU Museum of Art – Art Makes Sense! Exploring Sound in People in a Hard Land: Iconic Images of Life in the Southwest. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
