Don't you just feel like a kid again when you're eating waffles? I don't do anything special with mine, just ordinary Kroger Brand Waffle Mix ($1.79) and our little people favorite recipe includes cake sprinkles. They even come in stars shaped ($1.69) – No syrup is needed. Yummm…

I don’t have a favorite recipe…the Krusteaze mix works for me–just being honest!
Grandmas waffles were the best
We love them with fresh blueberries, whipped cream, and crunched up bacon.
I usually use a mix but then top my waffles with peanut butter and maple syrup. So yummy!
We make bran waffles using a homemade bran muffin mix! They’re sort of healthy but our kids love them!
we love the Kodiak bear mix – healthy and delicious!
I like strawberries and coconut syrup on them!
I always go for the strawberries and whip cream, but my kids love nutella on their waffles.
Put some cooked bacon on top of the waffle batter and then cook as usual. Yum!
We use a home made batter with a secret ingredient- sour cream! It’s delicious! I love to put homemade strawberry jam on mine.
I love chocolate chip waffles topped with a little butter and powdered sugar. However, my favorite thing to make in a waffle maker are hash browns! I love how crispy and delicious they get!
My favorite is whole wheat waffles with flax seed and huckleberries. Yum! I have made some savory shredded potato waffles though, they were delicious.
With my family we all live making Cinnamon Applesauce waffles. Especially during the Christmas season. It makes the whole house smell like apple pie. We usually will add a drizzle of chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
Butterscotch chip Belgian waffles with buttermilk syrup!!
Do you have have a favorite way to make waffles?
Yes, like you my favorite way is in a rotating waffle iron that has a light that lets you know when it’s time to take them out (preventing you from burning them).
My favorite waffle “recipe” is a mix – Kodiak brand whole wheat waffles. No one else in my family loves them like I do. They’re light and crisp. I love putting fresh strawberries and vanilla yogurt on them to avoid the overly sweetness of maple syrup. Healthy and YUM!! I like that I can make just 1 waffle. Mix and water – nothing else. Otherwise I love the fancy Belgium sugar waffles but I’m not up for the work required.

Corn fritters. just add sweet canned corn to the batter right after putting on the iron.
We just love waffles. I love the classic with maple syrup while my husband loves them with apricot jam.
My girls live chocolate chips in their fave waffle recipe. Hubby and I live any kind of berries. Yum love waffles
