We have a new restaurant to share with you.

Nuch's Pizzeria & Restaurant, has to be one of Salt Lake's locals secrets! This small, trendy restaurant, located on 2819 South 2300 East, has the most amazing food. You'll find the freshest tasting food around and, there's a reason, Nuch's is committed to buying local products, everything they serve is made from scratch including the pasta. Fabulous!

A friend of mine introduced me to this restaurant, where, we went for lunch to catch up. I'm going to warn you now, their menu is created for the seasons. So, you'll want to keep watch on the specials, as they create their dishes from what is in season. My friend tells me that during the summer months, when the patio is open, it's not usual to see the chef come out and pick herbs from his garden to go into your dish. Even in the cold winter month of January, the food tasted garden fresh.

We started with Roasted Eggplant and Red Pepper Crostini:Roasted eggplant and roasted red peppers pureed and seasoned with garlic and a touch of lemon. YUM!

After that we shared a Pesto Pizza: Basil-olive oil pesto, mozzarella, and Parmigiano Reggiano and one of their seasonal items, Butternut Squash Ravioli: Fresh Butternut Squash puree inside hand made pasta in a brown butter sauce that is to die for, with grilled veggies on the side. CRAZY GOOD!

My friend and I clearly like the veggie side of life, but she assures me that her meat loving hubby goes nuts for the Calzone di Carne: Ham, sausage, pepperoni, Prosciutto di Parma, bacon, Canadian bacon, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Nuch's also has a gluten free pasta on the menu.

If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this little jewel and try it out. Tell them Coupons4Utah sent you . Nuch's is a cozy restaurant with limited seating, especially in the winter when the patio is closed. You may want to call for reservations on the weekend. Bar offers are Beer and Wine.
