I’m a Mom of 2 grown kids, Grandma of three and proud, and proud military mom. I’ve lived in Utah my entire life and only every once in a while consider moving. I love outdoor adventure, gardening, crying at the movies, fishing with my guy of 30 something years and have an extreme passion for scuba diving… along with seeing and doing everything Utah!
I raised my kids during the '80's in an extremely volatile economy, when home interest rates were as high as 18% (my own at 14.5%), unemployment was at a peak and accompanied with the huge stock market crash, I learned, out of necessity, how to get creative with what we had and am here to share my tips with you. I hope you find value in my “no non-sense” methods for saving, spending and living life to the fullest on the cheap without being cheap.

I am married to a wonderful husband who works hard as a Financial Advisor and keeps our overall financial goals in check while I work hard to keep our day to day expenses in check. I am also a mom to 3 cute kids.
I previously ran a money saving blog, which is how I came to know and appreciate Joani at Coupons4Utah.
With a husband who's paycheck fluctuates from week to week, I have learned how important it is to save money and keep to a tight budget. Also, as a mom of young kids, I love to find free or cheap things to do for family fun.

I love being a mom to 5 amazing kids and wife to my high school sweetheart. Before my life of carpools, playdates and braces, I worked in the banking industry for 6 years. That is where I realized the importance of living within your means and why I was a loyal reader of Coupons4Utah before I became part of the C4U team. When I am not doing laundry or picking up Lego’s, I enjoy planning parties, cooking, organizing, decorating and volunteering.
