Get Into The River (Multiple Locations) – month long series of community events centered on the Jordan River and Jordan River Parkway. During 30 days in September, cities and counties along the river will host events near their section that help celebrate, protect and restore the Jordan River.
Avenue Street Fair – Saturday, September 9 from 10 am-6 pm at 2nd Avenue and between E and I street. This free event includes food vendors, entertainment, artists and more.
Sandy Heritage Festival -Saturday, September 9 from 11 am – 2 pm at Main Street Park. This free event includes food, fun activities, and entertainment.
Brazilian Festival (Salt Lake)- Saturday, September 9 from 1-7 pm at The Gateway.
Troubadour 77 (West Jordan) – Saturday, September 9 at 7 pm at The Viridian Center. Grammy award-winning Nashville song writers, Monty Powell and Anna Wilson pay tribute to the sound of late 1970's acts like Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles. Admission is free.
Grandparents Day Event (Toys R Us Locations) – Saturday, September 9 from 2-3 pm. Free activities, crafts, photo ops and more.
Octoberfest (Snowbird) – Runs every Saturday and Sunday through October 15
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
