Story Crossroads (West Jordan) – April 15-16 at The Viridian Center. Free festival with 50 professional story artists as well as 80 community members telling.
Free Screening of Pim and Pom: The Big Adventure – Saturday, April 16 at 11 am at The Viridian Center. This is a Tumbleweed film recommended for viewer age 4 and up.
Provo Spring Festival – Saturday, April 16 from 4-8 pm at Rock Canyon Park. Listen to local musicians, participate in outdoor yoga, try a new adventure sport, pet live animals, and learn about local gardens. Admission is free.
A Celebration of Cultures (Provo) – Saturday, April 16 at Vivint Smart Home Gym. Utah Valley University's Multicultural Center will perform traditional pieces from countries around the world. Admission is free.
FREE Oral Cancer Screenings: Saturday, April 16 from 9 am – 12 pm. 40,000 Americans develop oral, head, and neck cancer each year. Call for an appointment at 1-888-424-2100.
Thai-Lao New Year Festival (Layton) – Saturday, April 16 at Wat Dhammagunaram. There will be lots of entertainment, including classical Thai, Lao and Cambodian music and dance, and a kick-boxing demo, and the Miss Songkran Pageant. There will also be lots of traditional Thai and Lao foods. Admission is free.
Ogden Nature Center Earth Day – Saturday, April 16 from 11:30-4 pm at the Ogden Nature Center. There will be earth friendly exhibitors, demonstrations, entertainment, food, crafts and more. Admission is $2.
Alta Earth Day – Saturday, April 16; Snow Shoeing, Ski with a Ranger, Birding Tours, Apre's Earth Day & Film. This is a free event.
FREE National Park Entrance Days For 2014! Entry is free to any of the National Parks listed here, on April 16-24.
