The Orchard Grand Opening (Orem) – October 3-8 at University Place. Free events happening daily!
Deseret News Home Show (Sandy) – October 7-9 at South Towne Expo Center. 50% off coupons are no longer available, however, you can save $2 by ordering online and an extra $1 by using code: JOURNAL at checkout.
Honey Harvest Festival (Grantsville) – October 7-8 at Clark Historic Farm. This free event includes honey vendors and beekeeping demos. There will be crafts, produce, free activities, pony rides, petting zoo and more.
It's the Great Pumpkin, Saratoga! (Saratoga Springs) – Friday, October 7 from 5:30-8:30 pm at Shay Park. Includes food trucks, spooky train rides, face painting, movie and more.
US Observatory Public Viewing Night (Logan) – Friday, October 7 at 8 pm at USU Campus Science Engineering Building. Admission is free, come view that autumn sky from the roof's deck.
Roald Dahl Day (West Jordan) – Friday, October 7 from 4-7 pm at the Viridian Center. Celebrate Roald Dahl's birthday with fun activities and treats. This is a free event.
Shopping Extravaganza (Lehi) – Saturday, October 8 at Outlets at Traverse Mountain. Buy a $20 ticket for a special shopper lunch catered by Bona Vita Italian Bistro and Johnny Rockets, a free Bundlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes, Chocolate Tasting at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Dirty Drink by Swig. Proceeds of the event benefit 16 based charities.
Spooks in the Hollow (Salt Lake) – Saturday, October 8 from 2-5 pm at Crone's Hollow (3834 S Main St). Entrance is $4 per child and includes 10 tickets and a treat bag. Event includes trick or treat village, fish pond, story witch, pumpkin bowling, and more.
Rock ‘N' Ribs (Salt Lake) – Saturday, October 8 from 12-7 pm at The Gallivan Center. Some of Utah's greatest BBQ places will offer $3 sample plates. There will be kids' activities and live music. Admission is FREE.
Oktoberfest (Snowbird) – runs every Saturday & Sunday from August 13-October 9. Admission is free. This event is full of music, dancing, and traditional German cuisine. Kids can enjoy face painting, caricature artist, inflatable rides, and more.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
