Recipe for Blackberry Preserves:
Combine 1/2 an apple, 1-2 tablespoons of sugar and 1/4 c Pomegranate juice in a small sauce pan and simmer until the apples are tender. Add 1 cup of Blackberries and cook until thick. It's delicious on ice cream, mixed into yogurt or on toast.
NOTE: When using in the Brie recipe, make sure that you use just the fruit and not too much liquid or your puff pastry will be soggy. Save the liquid for on top of the Ice Cream.
