Pizza Rev Review

We had the yummy opportunity to visit Pizza Rev at Valley Fair Mall in West Valley. Pizza Rev allows you to customize your own personal pizza with high quality ingredients. Choose between original or gluten free crust with fresh made dough. Pick your sauce with organic marinara, bbq sauces, white alfredo or more. Last of all, choose from over 30 toppings including:  artisanal cheese, fresh basil, pepperoni, sausage, peppers and so on. Best of all, you can choose as many toppings as you like – there's no extra charge.

The prices are affordable whether you choose one of their specialty pizzas or create your own with as many toppings as you want for just $7.99 for an 11″ pizza. Pizza Rev offers gluten free and vegan options with Daiya vegan cheese.

Once you've decided on toppings, it's thrown in a 900 degree stone oven and cooked and ready to enjoy in just 3 minutes. There's also a Rev Up station where you can add extra sauces such as Sriracha.

The menu also includes salads, dessert pizza, desserts and kids meals.

For me, a great pizza is determined by two things: 1 – a great crust with just the right thickness and crunch. This was the perfect crust for me. And 2 – it's all about the sauce. If the flavor of the sauce isn't right, then the whole pizza is thrown off. This sauce was so yummy and it's also organic. My all time favorite pizza is Margherita and this one did not disappoint with lots of fresh basil.

Our biggest critic is my little boy who beats most every picky eater hands down. I brought him his own dinner because I didn't expect him to eat anything. He will typically eat my homemade pizza with just crust and sauce. We have gone to various other pizza joints and requested just sauce on his personal pizza.  He has normally taken one bite and claimed he doesn't like it. In fact, I don't think he has ever eaten a meal at a restaurant, but we had success at Pizza Rev. He ate his own pizza and actually liked it!
