I thought it a good day to take you to a local Haunt. Last weekend, after seeing the Mummies, we stopped by MacCool's for some chow. Have you been there? There are three locations, one in Salt Lake on Foothill Drive and one in Ogden on Washington Blvd and one in Layton in Heritage Park Plaza. We pigged out at the Foothill location.
Yeh, that's me, with the goofy camera smile. Okay, so a model I am not but, I can tell you, their crazy Pot Pie is delicious. A picture without a person in it, just didn't seem to do the amazing Puffy Crust justice.
The inside is just as good, it has big chunks of chicken and crisp veggies. Plus, it's so big, that it does double duty, there was just enough for a little lunch the next day.
The traditional Irish Pierogies, Lamb Ribs or Sheppard’s Pie are also great choices. If you are looking for a fun, cozy restaurant, with some good food, this is a great stop.
Even better, on select nights of the week the you'll get to hear there Irish singers. Call your location for dates and time.
