March 28, 2012 at 11:50 pmHow long is this deal going for? I heard you have to download some additional Adobe software for it to work?

March 30, 2012 at 1:10 pmSorry, I don’t know when the code ends. I linked to a list of the readers that work with the download.

March 26, 2012 at 9:30 amHmm. These are DRM books. Tjey are restricted so they are only viewable in Adobe Digital Editions. Even with Calibre, they cannotbe converted.

March 26, 2012 at 12:06 pmHey Lola, That’s what I said in the post. Check out Calibre. You should be able to use it to convert the files.

March 26, 2012 at 1:45 pmReally? I can’t see the light. I’ve installed Calibre and imported the books into it. But they are still DRM and they won’t open nor can be converted per the message within the Calibre software. I also don’t see a way to install Adobe Digital Editions on Kindle Fire. What am I missing?

March 26, 2012 at 8:23 amWow! I just reluctantly bought the second kindle book for my husband yesterday only because we were never going to get it at the e-library. There’s such a long wait. Wish I had known about this before. I’m getting the 3rd book now.
So with Calibre, you don’t have to use their reading app, you can read it on the Kindle reader?
