Looking for something fun and unique that the whole family can enjoy? Check out the 15th Annual Gangrene Comedy Film Festival Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater in Layton (403 N Wasatch Dr.).
Enjoy a family friendly evening of the funniest comedy shorts from around the world, as well as live comedy acts under the stars. There will also be a live musical performance celebrating the music of Juan Garcia Esquivel to start things off.
This is sure to be a night full of laughs that everyone will enjoy. The General Audience Session starts at 7pm, while the Late Session starts at 10pm.

Also, if you have ever dreamed of writing a book, making money as a musician, creating a film or other creative skills – you will want check out the Gangrene Film Festival Symposium. A 1-day information packed day of workshops taught by professionals in many creative industries such as novelists, directors, musicians and more.
The Creative Symposium is scheduled for Saturday, August 30 at the Davis Conference Center with workshops being held from 11am-9pm. Tickets are $25 for the day.
