Venture Outdoors Festival Friday, June 9, 2023 and runs thru June at various parks in Salt Lake City. This is a weekly series. This free, family-friendly event features live music, recreation clinics, movies in the park, giveaways, creative children's activities and more.

Salt Lake Parade of Homes is scheduled for July 28-August 12: Enter the discount code thingstodoutah when purchasing online to save $3.

North Ogden Cherry Days – Jul 1-8; car show, movie in the park, entertainment, fireworks and more.

Dinosaur Roundup (Vernal) – Jul 6-8; one of the best professional rodeos in North America. Tickets $6-$18.

Draper Days – Jul 7-15; parade, movie night, entertainment and more.

Cedar Breaks Wildflower Festival – Jul 7-16; Participate in self-guided hikes focusing on the wildflowers, how to identify them, and much more. Park admission $10.

Water Lantern Festival (Salem) – Jul 8 from 6-10 pm at Knolls Park. Tickets start at $27

Wasatch Wildflower Festival – Jul 8-9 & 15-16; hosted at the four Cottonwood Canyons ski areas to celebrate the beauty and diversity of wildflowers. The Festival begins at 9 am each day, and the last guided walk leaves at 1 pm.  The event is free, but registration is required. 

Brighton Days – Jul 8 from 9 am – 2 pm at Brighton Ski Resort. Hikes, history lessons, and arts and crafts.

Venezuelan Festival (Salt Lake) – Jul 8 from 12-10 pm at The Gateway. Folklore, arts, live music, and food.

Dog Days of Summer (Salt Lake) – Jul 8 from 12-7 pm at Utah State Park, and event for you and your pooch with crafts for kids and kids-at-heart, live entertainment, food trucks and more. Free admission.

Wheels & Meals Car Show (Orem) – Jul 8 from 9-11:30 am at University Place. Car show, mini golf, face painting, yard games, and giveaways.

European Cultural Festival (Orem) – Jul 8 from 5-9 pm at University Place. Learn about the cultures from the European countries through dancing, music, food & battling knights.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge
