Cotton Days (Washington) – Apr 25-May 1; includes movie in the park, parade, car show, jr rodeo and more.
Night Under Lights Earth Day (Draper) – Apr 29 from 7-10 pm at Loveland Planet Aquarium. Celebrate our Living Planet under the EECO lights with special presentations with our educators, music, and fun for the whole family. Cost is $10-$15. Members save $5. Ages 2 and under free.
Arbor Day (Lindon) – Apr 29 from 5:30-7 pm at City Center Park. Free hot dogs while supplies last, raffle, and kids can submit a coloring page from their website for a treat.
Red Butte Arbor Day (Salt Lake) – Arp 29 from 9 am -7:30 pm at Red Butte Gardens. Admission is free and free saplings will be given away while supplies last.
Arbor Day Celebration (St. George) – Apr 30 from 9-11 am at Tonaquint Nature Center. Volunteers will be planting trees as well as crafts, activities for youth, breakfast and more.
Artisan's Day (Cedar Valley) – Apr 30 from 10 am – 4 pm at Camp Floyd State Park and Stagecoach In Museum. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at woodworking? Join us for Camp Floyd State Park’s Artisan Day and learn from the artisans as they demonstrate their skills. Cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.
Monster Jam (Salt Lake) – Apr 30 at 7 pm at Rice Eccles Stadium. Prices start at $20.
Arbor Day Tree Planting Workshop (Riverton) – Apr 30 at 9 am at Monarch Meadows Park. Certified Arborist will be on hand to give a live tree-planting demo and answer your questions on how to plant and grow a healthy tree.
Arbor Day (North Salt Lake) – Apr 30 at 9 am at Legacy Park. Feature brief comments by City officials and tree planting to follow.
Preservation Community Day (Salt Lake) – Apr 30 from 11am – 3pm at Art Castle. Includes hands-on archaeology and history activities, and even food trucks! Bring the whole family and learn more about how we all have a stake in preservation for the next generation.
City Nature Festival (Salt Lake) – Apr 30 presented by Natural History Museum of Utah, Tracy Aviary, and Hogle Zoo: This free engaging event will feature exploration, hands-on activities, and lots of fun for the whole family.

9:00-10:00 AM: Birding with Tracy Aviary (free, but reservations are required. Register Here)
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: City Nature Festival Open House (Free, no registration required)
Hourly Nature Presentations:
- 10:00 AM – Birds with Tracy Aviary
- 11:00 AM – Insects with Christy Bills, Natural History Museum of Utah
- 12:00 PM – Amphibians and Reptiles with Utah's Hogle Zoo
Celebracion del Dia del los ninos y de las ninas (Salt Lake) – Apr 30 at The Leonardo. A tradition in Mexico to celebrate children. Join the museum with fun interactive games and art projects. Admission is free for the first 200 people and must register at admin@artesmexut.org. Otherwise, entrance fee is just $5.
Dia Del Nino Celebration (Herriman) – Apr 30 from 11 am – 3 pm at La Garnacha (5418 West, Main Street). Bouncy house, petting zoo and free food for kids.
Barnyard Babies (Grantsville) – Apr 30 from 10 am – 4 pm at Clark Historic Farm. Pet lots of fuzzy little farm animals and even some exotic species like a wallaby, capybara and zebra! Pony rides, demonstrations, vendors, $5 per person.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge
