I'm dubbing today “Freak-out Friday.” A moment of random ramblings, that will hopefully give you a tip or two and some insight on my perspective of all this coupon craziness.
It's funny, I've had those two sentences and this picture hidden on the site for 3 weeks now. I have all these thoughts rattling in my brain and, then I would go to add them to the post and…”holly molly…look at this deal I need to share that”….side tracked again…
On Friday's I'll be sharing various tips. I was thinking maybe some product and website reviews of the items I've posted and a few ideas on coupon organization. Maybe easy recipes. Stuff like that.
Those of you that have been with me for a while now know I have a little different take on coupons. I'm a “everything in moderation” kind of girl and, I take that attitude right on in to my coupon use. It's why you don't see deals on the site that use more than the number of coupons you can lay your hands by using more than one Newspaper, one computer and one Redplum mail circular.  My hopes for this website was to help some get re-inspired and new couponers get a good start.
Truthfully, there are days when I think that even my blog, which was supposed to keep it simple, has gotten a little carried away. I'm hoping the new site that's under development will remedy that.
I don't have a large stock pile, my garage is where I park the car, not food. However, my pantry is bursting at the seams. It's always seemed to me that the best way to use coupons is as part of a regular routine, going overboard in my experience, just leads to burnout and then no coupon savings at all. Plus, it takes a tremendous amount of time that could be spent at play.
In keeping with simplicity on this Freak-out Friday, I just want to simply say thanks to a few people. Starting with my son and partner, he's awesome! Wait until you see what's coming. My Dad who taught me that it's not only okay but, it's cool to be a tightwad, a penny pincher, thrifty, frugal, okay just plain cheap! And, my mom who always said “never waste a coupon if the item isn't on sale.”
Thanks, Noelle, who left the very first comment on this blog and still sneaks in an occasional comment and Crystal, who sent me my first heart felt reader email and still sends me great emails today!
The Grocery Guru, who I've occasionally poked fun at. He inspires 1,000's to break out those scissors every week including me. One Cheap Chick who stumbled on my secret hidden blog and helped get the word out. My awesome new friend Alison at the Grocery Smarts, she rocks!
Plus, the literally 100's of blogs I follow that network and share to bring great savings to you! I'll have a blogroll coming soon.
Most of all, thanks to all of you!!
Each and every one of you is so appreciated! I don't mind saying so myself, C4U readers you ROCK!
Have a great weekend!

February 18, 2011 at 7:55 pmI was thinking earlier today how you were my favorite site and hard you have been working at all the grocery deals. I love that you don’t stockpile (I don’t either) and how when I have posted a comment, you have always written back and have something witty to say.
And now today you post a thank you to us and it should be the other day around. Keep up the great work. C4U you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
