How to manage Amazon Subscribe & Save options and Where to find the coupons.
This is the time of year when Amazon pumps out a lot of “Subscribe & Save” items. You'll usually find great deals on Household items for cleaning, Toilet Paper, Diet Food products and more. You can bag some very good deals, especially if there is a coupon or special offer along with the Subscribe and “Subscribe & Save” option.
We've had a few readers get a little confused on how this works, so I thought I would make a quick post explaining how to find, order and manage your Amazon options. These are the 3 main questions we hear most.
#1: What is “Subscribe & Save”?
#2: Is there a way to find what deals are available for “Subscribe & Save”?
#3: How do you know what items have Amazon Coupons?
#4: How do I cancel my “Subscribe & Save”?
#1: What is “Subscribe & Save”?
When you purchase an item via Amazon “Subscribe & Save” you are signing up for future deliveries. For incentive Amazon gives you 5% off the price when you first sign up and you get free shipping on that order and all future orders of that product. You determine how often the deliveries will come and there is no obligation after your first order ships. You can cancel anytime.
To place an order with “Subscribe & Save” just look for the radio dot and check on that before checking out.
Don't cancel your first “Subscribe & Save” order until you receive notification that it has shipped. Doing so can cancel your initial order, depending on when delivery is scheduled.
Question #2: Is there a way to find what deals are available for “Subscribe & Save”?
**Yep – Here's the main link for all of Amazon's “Subscribe & Save” items. Go ahead and bookmark it so you won't loose track of the link. Keep in mind, Amazon loves to change their prices. Items in the categories do go up and down in price and often disappear all together. If you see an item that's a bargain, order it as soon as possible. It might not be available when you go back.
Question #3: How do you know what items have Amazon Coupons?
**Here's the main link for all of Amazon's coupons. Finding an item with “Subscribe & Save” and a coupon along with a discounted price, is what I like to call a triple dip. Now that you have both links, you can browse around to find the items your family needs.
A little secret… Amazon almost always runs the same promotions you see in the grocery store. So, if you notice that the stores are having, for example, a Proctor & Gamble event, check Amazon, they probably are too.
Everytime you are ordering from Amazon, make sure to look for the “Special Offer” link just below the price. These are usually additional discounts for placing an order of another product or coupons offers and rebates.
Question #4: How do I cancel my “Subscribe & Save”?
**It's VERY easy to cancel or manage your “Subscribe & Save” options. You can do it online and they are very organized.
*First, Log into your Amazon account (top right)
*Then, Roll over (don't click) the “Your Account” tab and
*Last, click on “Your Subscribe & Save Items”
You'll be redirected to a page where you can view, cancel or change the date of your “Subscribe & Save” items. Amazon also notifies you via email before your next product ships to give you a chance to cancel or change the date.
Last, but not least:
Amazon has a new program, where when you order 5 or more Subscribe & Save items to arrive in the same calendar month, you will get another 15% off! You can go here to visit the entire list of Amazon Subscribe and Save offers.
