I’m a Mom of 2 grown kids, a spoiling Grandma of one sweet little girl and proud Mother-in-law of a U.S. Navy Corpsman. I’ve lived in Utah my entire life and only every once in a while consider moving. I love outdoor adventure, gardening, crying at the movies, fishing with my guy of 30 something years and have an extreme passion for scuba diving… along with seeing and doing everything Utah!
I raised my kids during the '80's in an extremely volatile economy, when home interest rates were as high as 18% (my own at 14.5%), unemployment was at a peak and accompanied with the huge stock market crash, I learned, out of necessity, how to get creative with what we had and am here to share my tips with you. I hope you find value in my “no non-sense” methods for saving, spending and living life to the fullest on the cheap without being cheap.
