Smith’s P&G Match-Up – Cents-able Saturday Part I Ends 5/25

Smith’s is having an excellent Mix & Match sale on Proctor Gamble Products that goes well with a current rebate offer and coupons!

All you have to do is buy participating item in quantities of 4 and save an additional $4.00 at check out.

#1 The Personal Hygiene for Men idea:

Total before coupons $15.20

• Subtract $4.00 instant savings
• Subtract $7.46 BOGO coupons
• Subtract $7.00 in other coupons

Final all 4 items FREE plus $3.54 to go towards other items! I did this last night and it worked like a charm!

#2 The “I want to look *HOT* on Mother's Day” Idea:

• Buy 4 Cover Girl Products 25% off (price varies all Cover Girl included except nail care) starts at $3.79 – $6.99.
• We’ll be realistic and say we buy 2 cheap and 2 not so cheap.
  
• Use the BOGO from the 4/11 RP
• Use the $2.50/2 coupon from the 5/2 PG
• Use the $1.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

Total before coupons $21.56

• Subtract $5.39 for the 25% sale
• Subtract $4.00 instant savings
• Subtract $5.24 BOGO (make sure you buy 2 at the $6.99 price to get the higher value of the coupon)
• Subtract $3.50 other coupons

Final $3.43 for all 4 items!! ($.86 ea.) Even cheaper if you buy all 4 cheap items. But, hey a girls gotta live a little.

#3 The Personal Hygiene for Ladies Idea:

• Buy 1 Herbal Essences Hair Care Product – $2.99 (Look in the hairspray section. There are all kinds of yummy products. It doesn't have to be shampoo)
• Use the $1.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

• Buy 1 Tampax Pearl – $5.49
• Use the $2.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

• Buy 1 Olay Facial Cleanser – $6.49 (large selection)
• Use the $2.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG
• Use the Smith’s card coupon here $2.00/1

• Buy 1 Crest Toothpaste – $2.50
• Use the $.75/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG (coupon does not specify variety)

Total Before coupons $17.47

• Subtract $4.00 instant savings
• Subtract $6.75 coupons

Final $6.72 (less than the Olay would usually be by itself!)

#4 The Messy Baby Idea:

• Buy 1 Tide 32 load – $5.99
• Use the $1.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG
• Use the Smith’s card coupon here $.50/1

• Buy 1 Tide Stain Release  (large size and 18 ct included) – $5.99
• Use the $3.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

• Buy 1 Downy 52 load – $5.49
• Use the $1.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG
• Use the Smith’s card coupon here $.50/1

• Buy 1 Pampers Jumbo Pack – $8.99
• Use the $1.50/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

Total before Coupons $26.46

• Subtract $4.00 instant savings
• Subtract $7.50 in coupons

Final $14.96 –  $3.74 each for Tide, Downy and Diapers!! Nice!

#5 The Bathroom Idea:

• Buy 1 Charmin Bath Tissue – $6.99 (12 double roll and other large varieties included)
• Use the $.25/1 coupon for the 5/2 PG

• Buy 1 Prilosec OTC – $8.99
• Use the Smith’s card coupon here $2.50/1
• Use the $3.00/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

• Buy 2 Febreze Air Effects – $2.49
• Use the $.50/1 coupon from the 5/2 PG

Total Before coupons $20.96

• Subtract $4.00 instant savings
• Subtract $6.25 in coupons

Final $10.71 (OK, I know this one is silly, but we all need a laugh every once in a while and it’s a good buy for both Prilosec and Charmin)

****Note: You can work these in any combination you want. Just make sure you buy in quantities of 4 to get the extra $4.00 instant savings.

Since Proctor & Gamble rarely puts out a printable coupon this booklet is valuable! Read more about it here. You can download the request form here or there was one it the 5/2 P&G circular. The $50.00 requirement is before coupons and the $4.00 instant savings, so it will be easy to get there all in one trip.
