Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids (Salt Lake) March 6-8 & 13-15 at The City Library. Features films from around the world and provides culturally-enriching, curated film, and media arts workshops for younger audiences. Audiences will see the best animation and live-action films from around the world, participate in media arts workshops, and explore a variety of activities designed to balance visual content, active play, and critical thinking. For ages 4+. Special free Festival screenings will take place the Friday, March 6 at 10am & 2:30pm, plus March 10-12 at 7pm! Ticket prices start at $7.
Be Ready Utah Expo (Sandy) – March 13-14 at Mountain America Expo Center. Dozens of speakers and vendors come together to make this a one-stop shop for getting informed about disasters in Utah and how to get ready for them. Admission is $5 and kids 12 and under are free.
Autorama (Sandy) – March 13-15 at Mountain America Expo Center. See all of the coolest hot rods, customs, lowriders and more. Admission is $19/Adult; $7/kids 6-12; children 5 and under are free. However, you can pick up a coupon at O'Reily Auto Parts, making it $17/Adult, $6/kids.
Highland Bagpipe Experience (Salt Lake) – March 13 at 6:30 pm at The Gallivan Center. A beginning bagpipe lesson, history lesson & a rousing performance with the Utah Pipe Band. Light refreshments provided. Event is free, but registration is required
