I LOVE Jello and I'm sure as Utahn's we've all seen our fair share of Jello creations and salads! One great thing about Jello is that it is cheap, but tasty. Not to mention, it is so versatile! Although you won't see any green jello with carrots on this list (Utah joke), I thought I'd make a list of the best classic, family favorite Jello salads. This is my go-to list when I need an easy Jello Salad for dinner or for a potluck.
Creamy Orange Jello from Coupons 4 Utah – This is probably my family's #1 favorite Jello salad. Everyone asks for this recipe when we take it to a pot luck and they are suprised to find that the wonderful smooth texture and flavor comes from combining orange Jello and lemon pudding. It tastes just like an Orange Creamsicle but better.
Raspberry Vanilla Jello Salad by Butter With A Side Of Bread – This salad is absolutely delicious. I have made it several times for family functions and everybody loves it! Because it is made with frozen raspberries, you can have it any time of the year and it whips up in just a few minutes.
Rainbow Jello Cups by Yummy Healthy Easy – Are these not the cutest Jello cups ever! They would be so fun for St. Patrick's Day or a rainbow themed birthday party.
Sparkling Orange Jello by Mel's Kitchen Cafe – Unlike many of the other “Jello” salads on our list, this one uses unflavored gelatin and therefore is not technically a “Jello” salad. Some of the reasons we love this one is that it doesn't have any artificial colors. It also has a slightly fizzy texture because of the ginger ale.
Peaches and Cream Layered Jello by Natasha's Kitchen – This peach Jello salad is made with canned peaches so you can make it any time of the year. I love that it's not overly sweet and who can pass up the combination of peaches and cream? Yum!
Tropical Orange Jello Salad by Mom on Timeout – This yummy Jello salad is so quick to make and combines the yummy tropical flavors of orange, pineapple and coconut! Perfect for any summer get together!
Strawberry Pretzel Salad by The Recipe Critic – This is one of my family's all time favorite Jello salads. We love the combination of sweet the sweet strawberry jello with fresh strawberries, the creamy center and the crunchy and salty crust.
Creamy Lime Jello Salad by The Makeshift Nest – This retro Jello Salad is right out of the 1950's! If you have never had a Jello salad with mayonnaise as an ingredient then you need to try this one, it is suprisingly delicious.
Grandma's Jello by Your Cup of Cake – If you want a cranberry side dish at Thanksgiving but don't love cranberry relish, this is the recipe for you! It combines fresh cranberries with raspberry Jello, strawberry Jello, pineapple and nuts makes a nice balance between the sweet and the tart.
Five Minute Orange Fluff Jello Salad by Real Life Dinner – This is the Jello salad that I probably make the most frequently. It literally takes 5 minutes to whip up and it is refreshing and creamy and makes a quick side dish for any meal.
Fruit Salad To Die For by Just A Pinch – The delicious glossy sauce on this fruit salad is made by saving the pineapple juice and adding vanilla Jello pudding. I think this one is better if you make it 30 minutes ahead so that the sauce and fruit can chill together.
Seafoam Jello Salad by The Bitter Side of Sweet – The first time I had this Jello salad was at a family reunion and I loved it so much I asked for the recipe. Before trying this salad, I didn't think I liked lime Jello but this is subtle and creamy and the pineapple adds some extra sweetness.
Creamy Layered Lemon Squares by Kraft – This recipe has great reviews and rightfully so! It's a marriage of strawberry lemonade and cheesecake. YUM! This one feels more like a dessert than a “salad”. Taking a bite of this is like a taste of summer in your mouth.
Pistachio Pudding Jello Salad by Creme De La Crumb – This yummy and fluffy Pistachio Jello salad is a nice addition to Thanksgiving or any meal. It's only got 5 ingredients and has the combination of the silky pudding and crunchy nuts is really perfect.
Fruit Fluff Salad by Craft-O-Maniac – This eye catching Jello salad feeds a crowd and we love to make it for Easter dinner because the pastel marshmellows remind me of Spring and mandarine oranges are refreshing and it pairs nicely with ham.
