The Utah County Health Department reports that the West Nile virus has been found in mosquitoes in Utah County. The Health officials said they have positive test results for mosquitoes near Springville and Orem.
They are suggesting the ways to avoid the virus are:
#1 – Avoid outdoor activities at dusk through dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
#2 – Eliminate standing water in outside containers around the house such as old tires or unused flower pots. These can serve as a breeding ground for mosquitoes. If you have a bird bath, change the water in it at least two times a week.
#3 – Use mosquito repellents with DEET. Make sure to follow product directions for children.
My brother got West Nile virus a few years ago in Colorado. It's a nasty virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, pain in your eyes, rash, feeling tired, sick to your stomach or throwing up. Seek medical attention if you think you might have it.

On a personal note, we purchased the Repellent Starter kit last year and it works surprisingly well. We like to just put it on the table when were out sitting in the evening.
