Our friends at Fitness Together are hosting an open house this Saturday, January 18. At the open house they will have giveaways, free food tastings, free chair massages, free chiropractic exam and more.

If you have been with us long, you know what a fan I am of this company and am actually a client myself. VISA U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix – Halfpipe and Slopestyle – January 17 – 18 at Park City Mountain Resort. This will be the 1st year that Halfpipe skiing and slopestyle skiing competitions will be held in the Olympics. The official U.S. Freeskiing & Slopestyles Olympic Team will be announced after the competitions. This event is Free and open to the public.

Free Skate Party with Sarah Hughes – Saturday, January 18 at Peaks Arena (Provo) & Utah Olympic Oval (Kearns). XFINITY will host back-to-back FREE Skating parties with special appearances at both events by 2002 figure skating gold medalist, Sarah Hughes. She will skate with the crowd, pose for photos and give autographs. Families can enjoy free skating and skate rental, hot cocoa and treats, a live DJ, music, games and prizes. The fun will begin from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Peaks Arena, 100 N. Seven Peaks Blvd. in Provo, Utah, and will continue from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Utah Olympic Oval, 5662 Cougar Lane, Kearns.

Steve Madden Appearance – Saturday, January 18 from 1 – 2:30 pm at Nordstrom in Fashion Place Mall. Meet designer Steve Madden and shop his latest collection. Recieve a Free t-shirt, tote bag, and photo with him just for coming in (first-come, first served), plus a special gift with any Steve Madden purchase.

Harry Potter Yule Ball – Saturday, January 18 at 7-10 pm for teens ages 12-19 at the Viridian Center (1825 W 8030 S, West Jordan). Costumes or formal dress are encouraged, but not required. There will be a presentation by the Rocky Mountain Muggles costume troupe, ballroom dancing with a DJ, and free crafts and activities.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts offers FREE admission every 3rd Saturday of the month. This Saturday, January 18 – See some great Hard Edge paintings in the museum then try your hand at painting on canvas and make your own Minimalist masterpiece.

Discovery Gateway – is offering their $5 Fun Days. Get $5 admission per person for up to 4 people after 5 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and all day Sundays. Expires the end of January.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in January at BYU Museum of Art – Monika Bravo: Landscape of Belief. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
