Pony Express Days at Eagle Mountain – Runs May 21 – June 1. There will be carnivals, movie in the park, geocache treasure hunts, pancake breakfast, PRCA Rodeo, demolition derby, Chris Cagle concert and more.

Ogden Music Festival – May 31 – June 2 – Ticket prices range from $25 – $55, kids 16 and under are free.

Downtown Provo's Rooftop Concert Series – Enjoy a FREE concert Friday nights on top of the Central Bank parking terrace (100 W 100 N, Provo).

The Homestead & Zermatt Summer Concerts & Cowboy Campfires: During the Summer each Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm, there will be FREE Cowboy Campfires. They are also holding FREE Summer Concerts throughout the Summer.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party: Saturday, June 1 from 11am – 3pm at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan. There will be free live music, entertainers, activities, exhibitors, giant inflatable playground, train ride and crafts for the kids. West Jordan Police will be on hand and the West Jordan Fire Department will have a fire truck and ambulance available for kids to explore.

Free Tennis PlayDay – Saturday, June 1 from 10am – 1pm at Eagleridge Tennis & Swim Club (711 Parkway Dr, North SL). This is a free tennis event for kids ages 10 & under. Great for those just learning to compete or those who are already in competition.

Free Skin Cancer Screening (South Jordan) – Saturday, June 1 from 9am – 12pm at University of Utah Health Care (5126 W Daybreak Parkway). This is recommended for ages 50 and older and you must call to reserve your spot at 801-213-4860.

Discovery Gateway Children's Museum – Enjoy $5 admission after 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and all day Sundays. Just print out coupon or bring it on your mobile device.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in May at BYU Museum of Art – Edward Burtynsky: The Industrial Sublime.  On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.

Megaplex Theaters have started selling tickets for their Kids Summer Movies Series. Pay $12 for 12 classic PG rated family films over 12 weeks. Summer Movies begin the last week in May and can now be purchased at Guest Services.

Cinemark Theaters  – Get a pass for 10 movies for just $5 bucks! You’ll want to get your pass right away! Cinemark: $5 Series punch cards are limited and are now available only at the theatre box office while supplies last. Admission with a series punch card is limited to one person per card per movie, and valid only at the theater where purchased. All films that have been selected are rated either G or PG.

Lakeshore Learning stores offer a free craft every Saturday from 11am-3pm. This Saturday kids can make a High Flying Skydiver. Lakeshore Learning is in The Oakwood Village Shopping Center 5480 S. 900 East.

Here’s another great program to help keep the kids busy this summer and it’s free! Register for the KidsSkateFree.com program where kids can get free skating passes at participating locations nationwide. Utah’s only location is Classic Fun Center in Sandy.

Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Each bowling center will have their own age limits and shoe rental information. Bowling is completely FREE.

AMF has launched their Summer Unplugged program. At AMF, kids 15 and under can bowl for free all summer. Each registered child will have two free games per day waiting for them at the center through September 2, 2013, based on lane availability. In Utah the participating AMF Bowling Center is Ritz Classic Lanes on 2275 South State.
