Magna Main Street Arts Festival – Saturday, August 24 at Magna Historic Main Street (9065 W 2700 S). There will be food, music, dancing, art exhibits, and more.
Porchfest Salt Lake – Saturday, August 24 from 1-10 pm, where porches become stages and gardens become art galleries at this free annual event in the East Central neighborhood just west of the University of Utah (1200 E between 200 and 400 S).
Last Blast of Summer (Sandy) – Saturday, August 24 from 2-10pm at Big Bear Park (9708 S Poppy Lane, White City). There will be games, rides, food, live music, car show and fireworks. This is a Free event.
Ferragosto Italian Festival – August 23 & 24 at 1929 S 2300 E, Salt Lake. There will be live entertainment, Italian food, Bocce Tournament and more. Admission is free.

Downtown Provo's Rooftop Concert Series – Enjoy a FREE concert Friday nights on top of the Central Bank parking terrace (100 W 100 N, Provo).
Canyons Concerts – Canyons will have FREE Saturday Summer Concerts from July 20 – August 21 starting at 6pm.
The Homestead & Zermatt Summer Concerts & Cowboy Campfires: During the Summer each Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm, there will be FREE Cowboy Campfires. They are also holding FREE Summer Concerts throughout the Summer.
South Jordan End of Summer Bash – Friday, August 23 at 6pm at Heritage Park (10800 S Redwood Rd). There will be a health and safety fair, K-9 demos, free games and hot dogs, live music, zumba and movie at dark.
Snowbird's Oktoberfest runs every Saturday & Sunday from August 17-October 13. Admission is free. This event is full of music, dancing, and traditional German cuisine. Kids can enjoy face painting, caricature artist, inflatable rides, and more.
Cowboy Poetry Series at Antelope Island State Park – Saturday, August 24 at 4pm with feature poet Stan Tixier. Event is free with park admission which is $9 per vehicle.
Kids' Job Fair – Saturday, August 24 from 11am – 3pm at Viridian Event Center (1825 W 8030 S, West Jordan). Kids can meet local professionals in various jobs and participate in activities. This year's special guest is retired senator and astronaut Jake Garn appearing at 11:15 a.m. This is a Free Family Event.
Pleasant Grove Back To School Beach Party – Saturday, August 24 from 12-9pm at Downtown Park. This is a Fundraiser for Mission Alpine Valley Care Center. There will be prizes, food, entertainment, Utah's 1st sand castle building contest, car show, mini carnival, Utah's 1st body building contest, petting zoo and more.
