Pony Express Days at Eagle Mountain – Runs May 21 – June 1. There will be carnivals, movie in the park, geocache treasure hunts, pancake breakfast, PRCA Rodeo, demolition derby, Chris Cagle concert and more.
Scandinavian Heritage Festival (Ephraim) – May 23 -25, there will be a grand parade, dancing, storytelling, entertainment, historical tours, crafts and food booths and more.
Downtown Provo's Rooftop Concert Series – Enjoy a FREE concert Friday nights on top of the Central Bank parking terrace (100 W 100 N, Provo).
Cowboy Legends: Cowboy Music and Poetry Festival – May 24 – 26 at Fielding Garr Ranch (Antelope Island State Park). The 9th annual gathering of some of the best Cowboy Poets and story-tellers in the west. There will be kid activities, horseback/wagon rides, musicians, poets dinner shows and more. There is a $9 entrance fee and meals and certain activities do cost.
Shops at Riverwoods Splash Pad Party (Provo)- Friday, May 24 from 4pm – 6 pm. There will be dancing, games, bounce houses and more. Be sure to bring your suit, camera and towel.
The Homestead & Zermatt Memorial Weekend Events: During the Summer each Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm, there will be FREE Cowboy Campfires. They are also holding FREE Summer Concerts throughout the Summer, starting with the Memorial Day weekend. Listen to Joshua Creek perform at the kickoff concert.
This weekend the Homestead & Zermatt will also host a Crawfish Festival on Saturday, May 25 from 3 pm – 7 pm. The festival is FREE, but there is a charge for food and drinks. You can buy your tickets online in advance or at the event.
Family Fun Day for Children with Autism – Saturday, May 25 at 2pm at Westminster College (1840 S 1300 E). Includes various activities, arts and crafts, bounce houses and bocce ball, information booths and more. This event is open to the public and Free.
Water Safety Day – Monday, May 27 at 9:30 am – 1 pm at 4679 S 2225 E, Holladay. Join in for some fun, hands-on learning and resources to keep you and your family safe in and around water. There will also be FREE in-Pool activities!
Discovery Gateway Children's Museum – Enjoy $5 admission after 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and all day Sundays. Just print out coupon or bring it on your mobile device.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in May at BYU Museum of Art – Edward Burtynsky: The Industrial Sublime.  On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.

Megaplex Theaters have started selling tickets for their Kids Summer Movies Series. Pay $12 for 12 classic PG rated family films over 12 weeks. Summer Movies begin the last week in May and can now be purchased at Guest Services.
