Richfield Summer Arts and Crafts Festival – Saturday, July 6 at Richfield City Park (400 N Main Street). There will be artists exhibiting original art, photography and craft pieces.

Cowboy Poetry Festival – Saturday, July 6 at Viridian Event Center (8030 S 1825 W, West Jordan). Features poets and performances from both the Cowboy Poets of Utah and the Western Music Association.

Downtown Provo's Rooftop Concert Series – Enjoy a FREE concert Friday nights on top of the Central Bank parking terrace (100 W 100 N, Provo).

The Homestead & Zermatt Summer Concerts & Cowboy Campfires: During the Summer each Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm, there will be FREE Cowboy Campfires. They are also holding FREE Summer Concerts throughout the Summer.

Arts in the Parks Summer 2013 – Presented by Weber State University – this is a FREE week long art program for children. Each week will take place at a different park from 12:00 – 1:00 pm with a different set of activities Monday – Friday.

Megaplex Theaters have started selling tickets for their Kids Summer Movies Series. Pay $12 for 12 classic PG rated family films over 12 weeks. Summer Movies begin the last week in May and can now be purchased at Guest Services.

Cinemark Theaters  – Get a pass for 10 movies for just $5 bucks! You’ll want to get your pass right away! Cinemark: $5 Series punch cards are limited and are now available only at the theatre box office while supplies last. Admission with a series punch card is limited to one person per card per movie, and valid only at the theater where purchased. All films that have been selected are rated either G or PG. 

Scera Cinema Series (Orem) – Has a Kids Summer Matinee Program where you can buy one series for $7 or both series for $12. They will also be offering a Double Delight Treat Combo for $1 where you can pick any two items (popcorn, candy or drink).

Lowes Build & Grow offers a Free Kids workshop, – July 13 or 14, Toy Story Pizza Planet Truck and you can also sign up for July 27 or 28 for a Toy Story R.C. These fill up quickly, so you will want to sign up as soon as these workshops become available.

Home Depot Kids Workshop – Saturday, July 6 from 9 am – 12 pm. Kids can make a Despicable Me 2 craft. You will need to register in advance here.

Home Depot – On Saturday, there is a Free DIY workshop at 10:15-11:30 am. Register online here.

Lakeshore Learning stores offer a free craft every Saturday from 11am-3pm. This Saturday kids can make a Big Mouth Whale Puppet. Lakeshore Learning is in The Oakwood Village Shopping Center 5480 S. 900 East.

Here’s another great program to help keep the kids busy this summer and it’s free! Register for the KidsSkateFree.com program where kids can get free skating passes at participating locations nationwide. Utah’s only location is Classic Fun Center in Sandy.

Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Each bowling center will have their own age limits and shoe rental information. Bowling is completely FREE.

AMF has launched their Summer Unplugged program. At AMF, kids 15 and under can bowl for free all summer. Each registered child will have two free games per day waiting for them at the center through September 2, 2013, based on lane availability. In Utah the participating AMF Bowling Center is Ritz Classic Lanes on 2275 South State.
