Festivals & Fairs:

Dickens Christmas Festival – December 7-15 at Utah State Fairpark (155 N 1000 W, Salt Lake). Admission is $7/Adults, $5/Seniors & children 4-12. Save $0.75 by ordering online here. The sights and sounds of 19th Century London come alive at Dickens. The Festival is known for its unique gifts, entertainment and Christmas experience!

Celebrate The Season (Washington) – December 15, 17, 18 &19 at 7pm at Staheli Family Farm (3400 South Washington Fields Rd). This free event includes a live nativity. Bring a can food item for admission.

The Big Bodacious Christmas Boutique (Sandy) – December 14 & 15 at the South Town Expo center. Admission is Free. Customers will enjoy an array of wonderful gifts and holiday decor.

Echoes Of Christmas – Liberty Park This free production is presented each evening from 7-9 pm. Shepherds lead you on a guided journey of a realistic account of their perspective of the birth of Christ. You will hear inspiring music and see live animals.

Christmas Elves are now on display at Gardner Village. Take the kids on an Elf Scavenger Hunt and receive a sugar cookie for $0.35 at the Naborhood Baker with their completed form.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts offers FREE admission every 3rd Saturday of the month. This Saturday, December 15 Celebrate Utah’s winter wonderland and solstice with art making, science activities, and fun performances at the UMFA! This free family celebration will take place inside and outside of the Museum, so bring your winter clothes.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in December at BYU Museum of Art – Art Makes Sense! Exploring Smell in the Museum’s religious collection. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.

Santa Comes Down the Town Lift (Park City) – Saturday, December 15 at 5:30pm at the Town Lift Plaza. Parking is Free in the Town Lift underground parking. There will be Free hot chocolate, cookies and caroling. Come welcome Santa and his reindeer.
