Forbes.com reports, that Walmart has announced, they will be including price matching for items sold on Amazon.com. That's handy, and is going to make for another great way to save while shopping in the store. The report states that Walmart managers have been instructed to honor lower prices found not only on Amazon, but other online retailers as well. Read the full Forbes article here.
Smart Phone owners, if you haven't yet, this would be a good time to add the Amazon app your phone. The Amazon Price Check app for Android, iPhone, and iPod touch offers detailed price comparison information for millions of products available from Amazon.com.
When you're in the store, just click on the little barcode icon and scan the product you're thinking about purchasing. Amazon's best price will then be displayed. You can also use this handy app when price matching at Target and Best Buy who will also price match Amazon.

And, just a little side note. The LEGO Christmas Santa's Workshop, that I scanned in the image above is still available WAY cheaper at… The LEGO Store. Go here for details on that deal>>

November 14, 2014 at 7:31 pmSince Amazon doesn’t add tax, even if the prices are the same, Amazon still ends up being cheaper.

November 14, 2014 at 8:16 pmYes, I love that about Amazon, especially if it’s a large ticket item. However, if you’re a Prime member, you need to consider the membership fee.

November 15, 2014 at 12:24 pmI disagree. Just because amazon does not charge tax does not mean it will end up being cheaper. Law requires that you pay the tax for all online items at the time of purchase or when you file your yearly taxes. So, not posting them would be dishonest.
