Spring is here and it's the perfect time to get out and see some animals, especially baby animals. Who doesn't love petting a soft baby lamb or holding a fluffy baby chick? Your little one's will especially be in heaven. There are a bunch of places around the State to enjoy all kinds of different animals. Here's some we found:
Salt Lake County
This Is The Place Heritage Park
2601 E Sunnyside Ave, Salt Lake
Ponies, goats, sheep and more can be seen year round. Admission also includes crafts and activities available. Animals can be seen all year, but there will be a parade, candy cannon, and story time on April 13.

Little Buckaroo Petting Zoo at Gardner Village

Enjoy a petting zoo and hand-led pony rides.

Wheeler Historic Farm

The farm is a great way to get up close to farm animals including cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens and more.

Utah Hogle Zoo

Hogle Zoo is always a fun place to check out a bunch of various animals.

The Living Planet Aquarium
12033 Lone Peak Pkway, Draper
The Aquarium is a great place to get up and close with Utah mammals, penguins, sea animals, birds and more.

Sea Quest Interactive Aquarium

Thanksgiving Point Farm County

Check out the farm in April to meet the newest baby animals. There are pony rides, bunnies, llamas, goats, sheep, and more.

Cross E Ranch

Cross E Ranch holds a baby animals event April 5-May 11. Includes interaction with most baby animals, wagon train, hay rides, story time and more.

Carver's Cove

Wednesday thru Saturdays in June. Learn about farm animals and how they all live together. Baby Animal days run through the month of June. Check their site for schedule details as they do require reservations on certain days of the week.

Celebrate Baby Animal Days the last Saturday in April and the first Saturday in May. Local farmers will bring their newest additions to the farm to pet and snuggle.
