Are you looking to sell some of your items. Maybe you have a handful of things but, not enough to put together a whole yards sale. Or, perhaps you are in search of a specific item. Yard Sale groups on Facebook could be your solution. A Facebook Yard Sale group is a community of people in a targeted location where you are allowed to buy and sell used items from others. They are a fabulous way to declutter and make a few bucks in the process.
How to Find the Best Yard Sale Groups in Utah:
To find a group in your area, go to the search box at the top of your screen and type in your city or area, plus a term such as “sale group,” “yard sale” or “buy sell trade.” You may also have a “sale groups” tab in your left-hand column of your feed that will give you a list of suggested groups and a map of where they’re based.
To join a group, click on the name. You’ll see a green “join group” button toward the top of the page. Once you click it, the button will show that your membership is pending. Some groups are set so the anyone can view the information, however, in order to participate you must join the group.
Finding these groups can be a bit tricky at first so, I've put together a list of some of the Yard Sale Facebook Groups here in Utah by city or genre that I have personally seen are having success. Note when joining, each group has it's own specific rules. Make sure you read and follow the guidelines for the group. Once you start joining a few Facebook will suggest others.
