Sundance Film Festival (Park City) – January 18-28; Even if you don't have tickets to any films, there are lots of fun, free events. There are film panels, concerts, cutting-edge media installations, and more in addition to our regular program of films. Events run all day, every day at Festival.
Winter Bird Festival (St. George) – January 25-27; Activities include field trips, presentations, kid's workshops, exhibits, live birds, photo contests and more. Admission is free.

Winter Carnival (Snowbasin) – Saturday, January 27 from 9 am – 7 pm at Snowbasin. hosting winter-themed activities throughout the day. Hit the slopes with the kids for a scavenger hunt all around the mountain with great prizes! Enjoy the novelty of night skiing on Little Cat followed with a spectacular fireworks show.
Jordan World Circus (Multiple Locations) – Runs January 23 – February 1. Locations include Orem, Ogden, Farmington, South Jordan, and Heber.
Superhero Saturday (Lehi) – Saturday, January 27 10am – 4 pm at Thanksgiving Point. The Show Barn will be packed with inflatable obstacle courses, slides, bounce houses, and of course, superheros! There will also be a live DJ supplying music, dancing, giveaways, a Wild Wonders Animal Show, a magic show and so much more. Admission is $6.
STEM Expo (Sandy) – Saturday, January 27 from 12-3:15 pm at South Town Expo Center. Event will include robotics presentations, science shows, STEM demonstration, science trivia, STEM passwords to win donated prizes, and more. Admission is free.
Get Curious (West Jordan) – Saturday, January 27 from 10 am – 12 pm at The Viridian Center. Explore texture, color, building and bubbles through hands-on play and experiments. This is a free event.
Murray Concert Band (Murray) – Saturday, January 27 at 7pm at Hillcrest Jr. High School. Admission is free.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
