Utah’s Hogle Zoo will be honoring all military personnel, veterans and their immediate family with a FREE admission day on Wednesday, July 4th. Present your military or veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification to receive free admission.

Ogden Botanical Gardens will be holding their annual Art in the Gardens Gala on Saturday, June 30, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Watch local artists at work and view their beautiful work in oils, water colors and other media as you stroll through the gardens, and enjoythe beauty of the season’s blooms while you listen to live musical performances by the Aspen Strings and other talented musicians.

Joy Bossi, from Good Things Utah will be teaching the art of cooking with herbs and there will be other fun workshops. Admission is free, there is a charge to participate in the workshops. Go here for information>>

Summer Bash (Park City) – June 29 at 5pm located at the Town Lift Plaza. This event is free for the whole family and includes live entertainment, kid's activities, limbo contest, beach blanket bingo, face painting; food and berverage purchases will support KPCW.

Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival (Salina) – June 29-July 1; events are free and start daily at 6:15 am. Saturday includes breakfast, crafts, vendors, scales & tails reptile display, free swimming, inflatable rides, concert, night-time balloon “glow” and more.

Shops at the Riverwoods – is offering Night at The Gazebo Friday, June 29 6-9 pm with musical performances. Go here for a list of performers.

Bountiful Concerts in the Park – Friday, Jun. 29 from 7-8:30pm at Bountiful City Park (400 N 200 W).

Lakeshore Learning stores offer a free craft every Saturday from 11am-3pm. This Saturday kids can make a Star Spangled Shaker. Lakeshore Learning is in The Oakwood Village Shopping Center 5480 S. 900 East.

Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Each bowling center will have their own age limits and shoe rental information. Bowling is completely FREE.
