Kaysville Baby Animal Days – May 9 & 10 at USU Botanical Center in Kaysville. This annual family event is held each spring to benefit the gardens and is a blast for the kids! Save $5 off a family pass, go here for details>>

Adventure+Gear Expo – May 9 & 10 at the South Town Expo Center in Sandy. Utah's largest interactive outdoor gear event presented by some of most premier outdoor brands in the state. Admission is $10, however, if you buy tickets online today (5/7) admission is just $8. Also, CityWeekly is offering two tickets for the price of one here.

Red Butte Garden's Spring Plant Sale – Saturday, May 10 from 9 am – 3 pm.Find over 60 varieties of heirloom plants, colorful annuals, trees, shrubs and more. Experts will be on hand to answer questions. Proceeds go toward Garden maintenance and education programs. Free entry to the general public (there is a members only sale taking place on Friday (5/9) that requires a membership for entry).

Sego Lily Garden Fair (Sandy) – Saturday, May 10 from 9 am – 12 pm at 1472 E Sego Lily Dr. Attend Free classes on irrigation, local native plants and tree, learn how to conserve water, there will also be exotic wild animals for kids, booths, prizes and more.

Oasis Community Garden Workshop (Ogden) – Saturday, May 10 at Oasis Community Center. Join us for a free workshop introducing planting basics and instructions for how to plant for your best crop yield.

Astronomy Day 2014 – Saturday, May 10. Clark Planetarium will be hosting a series of events during the day with free hands on demonstrations and activities at the planetarium from 12 – 4 p.m., with a chance to win a free telescope courtesy of Celestron. Professional and amateur astronomers will be there.

Simple Treasures Mother's Day Boutique (Farmington) – May 7-10 at Legacy Events Center. $1 admission.

Free Utah Youth Orchestras – Saturday, May 10 at 7 pm at Abravanel Hall. The Utah Youth Orchestras will perform Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz.

Lagoon – Mom's get in FREE on Mother's Day (5/11) with two regular priced single day passes.

Discovery Gateway – is offering their $5 Fun Days. Get $5 admission per person for up to 4 people after 5 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and all day Sundays. Expires May 11.

Utah Museum of Contemporary Art – May 10 from 2-4pm. Children ages 5-12 and their adult companions are invited to explore UMOCA exhibits and hands-on art activities. Admission is FREE.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in March at BYU Museum of Art – Monika Bravo: Landscape of Belief. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
