Most all Easter Egg Hunts have been cancelled this year due to COVID-19, however, there are a few cities and venues that have gotten creative to still include an Egg Hunt and maintain social distancing. Here’s some that we have found:
Emery County: from now until Easter they will post a photo on their Facebook page with a hidden egg somewhere in the picture. Find it and comment. You will be entered in a drawing.
Layton: @dartsideutah is having a Ride and Hide Hunt throughout Davis County. Take a photo of as many eggs as you can to win some prizes. Watch for more information and locations.
Lehi: Go to @thankspoint and download and color an egg to hang in your windows and share on social media.
Orem: starting April 10 will have 10 golden eggs hidden around the city. Clues will be given and prizes won.
Payson: Drive by egg hunt runs April 5-11. Must stay in your vehicles and snap a photo of every egg you find (20 large eggs will be hidden) and complete their online form (located on their Facebook page) to win prizes.
Perry: Before Saturday at 1 pm make a sidewalk chalk Easter art picture with the words PERRY somewhere in it, then send a photo to their Facebook page.
Salt Lake: @atthegateway is offering an online egg hunt through all their social accounts. Turn in your collected online “basket” of eggs on April 12 for a chance to win some prizes.
St. George: @redcliffsmall through Easter Sunday will post a photo of an Easter Egg that is hidden somewhere at the mall. No need to come down, just be the first to comment with the name of the store where the picture was taken to win a prize.
bricksandminifigs_sj has Easter Egg “To-Go” bags available for purchase filled with LEGO themed prizes. You will also be able to register for their in-store Hunt scheduled for June 20.
West Point: April 7 from 1-3 pm pick up an Easter Egg Hunt kit at Monticello Academy (3110 W 300 N) parking lot while they last.
Many neighborhoods are creating their own Egg Hunts by crafting eggs to hang in their windows, then take a walk to find as many eggs as you can.
How fun! I love the creativity during this time. Do you know of any others we missed? Let us know in the comments.
