Outdoor Adventure Days (SLC) – June 10-11; Presented by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, experience shotgun shooting, archery, ATV trail rides, fishing, kayaking and much more. This FREE, fun-filled, family event will take place at the Lee Kay Public Shooting Range
Scottish Festival (Thanksgiving Point) – June 10-11; Celebrate Scotland's rich heritage at the annual Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games. Sandhill Crane Festival (Cache Valley) – June 10-11; Willow Park Zoo Wildlife Learning Center. Poetry reading, Free raptor program, Field trip to see Sandhill Cranes with Frank Howe, Bridgerland Audubon Society. Meet at Caffe Ibis parking lot at 8am.
Balloon Fest (Springville) – June 10-11; Beginning at 6:30 am, hot air balloons launch from the grass field at Cherry Creek Elementary (484 S 200 E). Balloon Fest includes the Orville Anderson Cup Competition where balloon pilots compete to show off their skills.
Children's Art Festival (Springville) Friday, June 10 from 10 am – 2 pm at Springville Museum of Art. This free event includes face painting, balloon animals, sidewalk art and more.
Venture Outdoors Festival Runs thru Friday, August 28 at a different venue each week. This is a weekly series. This free, family-friendly event features live music, recreation clinics, guest speakers, giveaways, creative children’s activities and more.
Free Fishing Day – Saturday, June 11; Everyone living in Utah can fish free on that day. Regular catch limits and fishing rules apply.
Asian Festival (South Town Expo) – Saturday, June 11; The festival is free and everyone is welcome! The Utah Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Laos, Thai, Tibet, Hawaiian and Vietnamese communities celebrate and share their cultures with food, exhibit, performance and hands-on demonstrations.
Bear River Celebration (Logan) – Saturday, June 11 from 10 am – 2 pm at Willow West Park. This free event includes meeting wildlife, learning to fish with experts, face painting, live music and more.
Five-O Fest (Salt Lake) – Saturday, June 11 from 12-4 pm at Salt Lake City Public Safety Building. Enjoy music, art, food, fun activities, giveaways and more. Admission is free.
Music Stroll (Salt Lake) – Saturday, June 11 from 3-8 pm through the tree-line streets of a Salt Lake neighborhood. Enjoy music and several local food trucks. This is a free event.
Jay Lawrence & Strawberry Fields (West Jordan) – Saturday, June 11 at 8 pm at The Viridian Center. This free concert features Beatles favorites.
Freedom Car Show (Layton) – Saturday, June 11; “BLOOD, SWEAT and GEARS” is going to be bigger than ever. The first 200 cars registered will be getting a dash plaque, No entry fee but donations accepted. Hundred plus vendors, thousands of dollars in giveaways and GUNS, plus over four hundred show cars.
Ogden Arts Festival (Ogden) – June 11-12 at Ogden Amphitheater. There will be live music, theater, and dance performances.
