This Saturday, November 8, support Movember at the Mustache Dache 5K & Kid’s Run at Thanksgiving Point. Come sporting your best mustache – although mustaches are not required, they are highly encouraged (real or not).

USU Wind Orchestra Lord of the Rings Concert – Friday, November 7 at 7:30 pm at the Kent Concert Hall. This concert is free and open to the public.
Big Hero 6 Party – Saturday, November 8, from 11am-4pm, the Legacy Crossing Megaplex Theater in Centerville. Tickets are $4. Parents and non-participants do NOT need a ticket for the party.
The Zig Zag Kid Free Screening – Saturday, November 8 at 11 am at The City Library.
Memory Grove Discovery Days – Saturday, November 8 from 9-11 am at Memorial House in Memory Grove Park. This free event brings historic building restoration techniques to the public through fun and free activities.
Try Hockey for FREE is back for another round this year. On Saturday, November 8, USA Hockey and over 500 local programs across the country are encouraging kids, ages 4-9, to come to a local participating rink and try youth hockey.
Northern Utah Veterans Parade – (Ogden) – 11-12:30 pm on 25th Street to 30th Street. Come honor those who have served and are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Will be featuring Floats, Mascots, Military vehicles, Mormon Battalion, Horse Soldiers, 1500 Veterans, Marching Bands, and many more.
Celebrating Veterans (Orem) – Saturday, November 8 at 11 am at SCERA Center for the Arts. Featuring patriotic presentations, special guests and a variety of musical performances in a USO-style show. Admission is free.
Discovery Gateway Museum – has a coupon valid for $6 admission per person (good for up to 4 people). Valid Fridays & Saturdays from 5-8 pm and Sundays 12-6 pm.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
