Halloween Costume Swap (West Jordan) – Exchange your costumes for a token at various library branches through October 13. On Saturday, October 15 from 10 am -12 pm, anyone with a token can shop the swap for a new to them costume at the Viridian Center. Costumes may also be donated and exchanged for a $5 library fine waiver.
Halloween Expo & Show (Sandy) – October 14-15 at the South Towne Expo Center. Jim Henson's Creature Shop and makeup masters of Face Off, haunted tunnel, escape rooms, Utah CosFest cosplay competition, circus acts, UFO experts of M&L Paranormal Investigations and Paranormal U, magic shows, live music, and more. Bluff Arts Festival (Bluff) – October 14-16; with workshops, storytelling after dark, film festival and more.
Witches Night Out (West Jordan) – October 14-15 at 6-10 pm at Gardner Village. Dress in your wackiest witch attire and enjoy discounts in every shop. There will also be a witches parade, drawings, dance and more. Admission is free, however, parking is $5.
Science Unwrapped (Logan) – Friday, October 14 at 7 pm at Eccles Science Learning Center. Science talk on “Science at the Movies”, hands on activities, and refreshments. This is a free event.
ArtOberFest (Park City) – Saturday, October 15 from 12-5 pm at Kimball Art Center. This Free community event includes pumpkin painting, face painting, a photo booth, ceramics demonstrations, live music, and a beer garden.
Fall Festival (Salt Lake) – Saturday, October 15 from 12-5 pm at Trolley Square. This free event includes: balloon artists, face painters, acrobatic performances, animal adoptions, outdoor fall photo booth, Halloween movies playing in the Google Fiber space, NBA Jazz player, Boris Diaw onsite doing autographs and giveaways, free hot chocolate bar, Thriller performances by Thompson Lane Entertainment, and children's trunk or treat.
Pumpkin Festival (Herriman) – Saturday, October 15 at 5pm at W&M Butterfield Park. This free event includes costume contest, pumpkin decorating, scavenger hunt, prizes and more.
Castle Valley Gourd Festival (Moab) – Saturday, October 15 at Castle Valley Community Center. Includes gourds, puppet show, tractor parade, kids tent, and more.
Mundi Live (Salt Lake) – Saturday, October 15 from 3-4 pm at Salt Lake City Library. Enjoy a flamenco performance and music from Tablado Dance! Our MUNDI LIVE library series concerts are free & open to the public,
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
