Venture Outdoors Festival Runs thru Friday, August 21 at a different venue each week. This is a weekly series. This free, family-friendly event features live music, recreation clinics, guest speakers, giveaways, creative children’s activities and more.
Party in the Park (West Jordan) – August 15 from 4-7 pm at the Conservation Park (8275 S 1300 W). This is a FREE family event with live animal shows, activities for kids and adults, educational exhibits, food trucks, a butterfly release of 500 Monarch butterflies and more.
International Mustang and All Ford Stampede Car Show (Park City) – Saturday, August 15 at Redstone Center in Kimball Junction. Admission is free.
Military Appreciation Day at Utah State Parks – Saturday, August 15. Day-use entrance fees into all Utah state parks will be waived for disabled veterans, active service and veterans. There will also be special activities or tribute displays at all 42 state parks.
Kaysville Library Grand Opening – Saturday, August 15 from 9:30-12:30 pm at 215 N Fairfield Rd. This free event includes face painting, story telling, juggling, mini train rides and more.
Free Tumbleweeds Screening (West Jordan) – Saturday, August 15 at 11am at the Viridian Center. See DisneyNature's African Cats.
Bluegrass Saturday Night (Salt Lake) – Saturday, August 15 at 5pm at the Gallivan Center. Free Bluegrass bands.

Snowbird's Oktoberfest runs every Saturday & Sunday from August 15-October 11. Admission is free. This event is full of music, dancing, and traditional German cuisine. Kids can enjoy face painting, caricature artist, inflatable rides, and more.
Canyons Resort Free Spring Concert Series – The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Fridays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage. The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.
The Utah Museum of Fine Arts offers FREE admission every 3rd Saturday of the month.
