Smithfield Health Days –Â May 4-9 with parades, candy cannon, theater presentation and more.
Sports+Health+Fitness Expo – May 8 & 9 at the South Towne Expo. Admission is Free.There will be basketball and wrestling tournaments as well as guest speakers including Thurl Bailey, Ron Williams, and Angela Martindale.
Salt Lake Bike Party (May 8 at 7pm): Come join the party with all ages and abilities invited to ride through Salt Lake City. The theme is Bike to the Future and begins at Library Square (210 E 400 S).
Midvale Cinco De Mayo Celebration – Friday, May 8 at Midvale City Park. Admission is free.
Free Nathan Osmond Concert (Orem) – Friday, May 8 at 7pm at the Orem RC Willey (693 E. University Parkway).

Red Butte Garden Annual Spring Sale (Salt Lake) – Saturday, May 9 from 9 am – 3pm. You'll find plants for every situation, including gifts and high-altitude gardening. Entry to the plant sale is free.
Wasatch Community Garden Plant Sale (Salt Lake) – Saturday, May 9 from 8 am -1 pm at Rowland Hall: 720 S Guardsman Way. Some of the most competitive pricing for organics, heirlooms, and perennials in the valley!
Sego Lily Garden Fair (Sandy) – Saturday, May 9 from 9am – 12 pm at 1472 E Sego Lily Dr. There will be education on water wise plants AND Wild Wonders will be there with exotic wild animals. Something for all ages. Admission is free.
Urban Bird Festival at Tracy Aviary – Saturday, May 9 from 9am-6pm. This all-day festival features local vendors, community nonprofits, a day packed with activities, food on-site, and opportunities to learn and explore the birds and environment around you. Admission is $5 for ages 3 and up.
Ice Extravaganza (Salt Lake) – Saturday, May 9 at 7pm at Salt Lake City Sports Complex (645 S Guardsman Way). Salt Lake figure skating show. Admission is free.
Festival of Colors at Sri Radha Krishna Temple (Salt Lake) – Saturday, May 9 at 965 E. 3370 South. Admission is $5 and kids 12 and under are free. There will be live bands, DJs, Cuisine, Yoga, & COLORS!
Utah Youth Orchestras and Ensembles: Sibelius' Second Symphony: Saturday, May 9 at 7pm at Abravanel Hall. All three of our orchestras will be on stage to perform Sibelius' 2nd Symphony. Admission is free.
Canyons Resort Free Spring Concert Series – The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Fridays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage. The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
