Magic on the Sidewalk (Bountiful) – May 13-16 at Bountiful's Main Street. Free and open to the public. Friday night includes free entertainment and award ceremony.
Great Salt Lake Bird Festival (Farmington) – May 14-18. This free event includes workshops, vendors, and youth activities
Festival of Roses (Draper) – May 15-17 at Skaggs Catholc Center (300 East 11800 South). Includes free entertainment, classic car show, games, carnival rides and more. Carnival ride wristbands can be purchased at a discount before the event.
Living Traditions – May 15-17 at Salt Lake City & County Building 450 South 200 East. multicultural festival celebrating the traditional music, dance, crafts and foods of Salt Lake City’s contemporary ethnic communities. Admission is free for all festival attendees, which brings together over 50 cultures
KUTV Channel 2 Matt Gephardt is hosting their annual Shredfest on Friday May 15, 2015. This years shredding will take place at The Maverik Center in West Valley City. From 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bicycle Pit Stops (May 14 from 7-9am) There will be various pit stops through out Salt Lake. Free breakfast will also be provided. Specific locations will be added shortly.
Provo Bike Prom (May 15 at 6pm): All ages are invited to participate in the ride. Following the promenade, there will be a dance at the Provo Rec Center. Enjoy mocktails, hors d' oeurves, photo booth, and DJ. Prom attire is optional. The bike ride is free and the dance is for those 17+ and cost $8/advance, $10/at the door.
UTA Bike Bonanza (May 15 from 4-8pm): This event is free to the public and held at the Gallivan Center. There will be entertainment, prizes, booths and more.
Neighbor Day with Daniel Tiger (Murray) – Saturday, May 16 from 10 am – 2 pm at Wheeler Farm (6351 S 900 E, Salt Lake).There will be Free kids' activities and kids can plant their own mini garden. Including: wagon rides, cow train, bounce houses, sheep shearing, entertainment and more. Plus, you can meet Daniel Tiger.
Lakeview Hospital Health Fair (Bountiful) – Saturday, May 16 from 10 am – 2pm at 630 East Medical Drive. This free event includes a teddy bear clinic, 5K, Free Screenings, emergency vehicles on display.
Free The Boxcar Children Tumbleweed Film Screening (West Valley)- Saturday, May 16 at 11am at The Viridian Center (1825 W. 8030 South, West Jordan).
New Gas Can Exchange Event on Saturday, May 16 starting at 11 am at the Department of Environmental Quality (195 N 1950 W). Residents can exchange their old gas can for a free, brand new SureCan while supplies last.
Castle Country Trails Grand Opening (Price) – Saturday, May 16 at Carbon County Fairgrounds (450 South Fairgrounds Way). This free event includes Booths, 30 minute ceremony, OHV obstacle course, demo rides, FREE guided rides, FREE Food, and more. Motocross races all day on our Newly Built Motocross Track.
Hogle Zoo Veterans Appreciation Day – Saturday, May 16. all military personnel, veterans and their immediate family (spouse and any children 18 and under) will receive free admission with ID.
Armed Forces Concert – Saturday, May 16Â from 4:30-9:30 pm at the Gallivan Center. Admission is free.
Canyons Resort Free Spring Concert Series – The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Fridays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage. The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.
The Utah Museum of Fine Arts offers FREE admission every 3rd Saturday of the month.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
