Nihon Masuri Japan Festival – Saturday, April 25 from 10 am – 5 pm at 268 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Traditional and modern culture including tea ceremonies, taiko drummers, martial arts and cosplayers. This year's featured guest is One Voice Children's Choir. Admission is free.
Swaner EcoCenter Earth Day Celebration (Park City) – Saturday, April 25 from 10 am – 4 pm. This event will offer a number of engaging activities and take home crafts for youth of all ages. Participants will get to clean up a small scale oil spill, learn more about compostable materials, and participate in a recycling race.
Draper Earth Day Recycling – Saturday, April 25 from 10 am – 2pm at Draper City Park. Items such as paper, metal, computer equipment, televisions, oil and usable household items, clothing and toys, adult and children's bicycles will be accepted.
Comcast Cares (multiple locations) – Saturday, April 25 from 7 am – 1 pm at multiple parks, school, and community sites. Projects include planting, weeding, painting, park and trail cleanup, tree planting, adding bark to playgrounds, school cleanup, etc. Participants will receive a free breakfast, lunch and t-shirt.
Station Park Shred It (Farmington) – Saturday, April 25. Take advantage of this opportunity to properly dispose of your unwanted: Documents, Magazines, CD'S/DVD'S/Videos/Discs. AT NO CHARGE!
Free Health Safety and Preparedness Expo (West Jordan) – Saturday, April 25 at Hawthorn Academy at 90th South 22nd West. Features a variety of speakers, classes and activities to help everyone learn more about how to be more self sufficient and prepared for any situation.
Try A Trail (Saratoga Springs) – Saturday, April 25 at 8 am starting at Willow Park. Come for music, prizes, and fun. There will also be free granola bars and water bottle lanyards for the first 50 people.
Safe Kids Fair (Ogden) – Saturday, April 25 from 10 am – 4 pm at Newgate Mall. A host of FREE activities dedicated to helping families healthy and safe. Bike rodeo, health screenings, see fire, police and other big rig safety vehicles. First 400 kids get a free t-shirt. Bike helmet fitting ($5 to purchase helmet).
Utah Stem Expo (Sandy) – Saturday, April 25 at the South Towne Expo Center. Hundreds of students will showcase STEM projects and demos at the Utah STEM Expo. Admission is free.
Snowbird Winter Family Flicks – Free family flicks every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday evening at The Clifff Lodge thru April 12.
Canyons Resort Free Spring Concert Series – The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Fridays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage. The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.
