Ogden Climbing Festival – April 9-11 includes three days of incredible events from the Free Gear Demo, and the Ogden Premier of Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia Film, to Free Educational Climbing Clinics with the pros, Free lunch, and the largest climbing competition Ogden has ever seen.
What a Woman Wants – April 10-11 at the South Towne Center in Sandy. Tickets are $5.
Free Skin Cancer Screening – Saturday, April 11 from 8 am – 2 pm at Huntsman Cancer Institutes. Includes a free full body skin exam for people ages 18 and older. Call for an appointment at 1-88-424-2100 (max of 2 appointments per caller).
Gas Can Exchange Event Saturday, April 11: in four counties where residents can exchange their old gas can for a free environmentally friendly can.
Yuba State Park Rotten Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 11 – The Easter Bunny is running a little behind this year. Come to the Oasis campground pavilion at 4 pm for an Easter egg hunt and search for as many goodies and prizes as possible, but let’s hope there won’t be too many rotten eggs. Cost $10 per car. Free Utah Opera Concert – Saturday, April 11 at 7 pm at the Viridian Center in West Valley.
Ogden Restaurant Week – April 10-19: Sixteen of Ogden’s best restaurants are offering a fixed 2-course lunch for $8 and 3-course dinner for $15. Go here for more info.
Snowbird Winter Family Flicks – Free family flicks every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday evening at The Clifff Lodge thru April 12.
Canyons Resort Free Spring Concert Series – The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Fridays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage. The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.
Utah Museum of Contemporary Art – April 11 from 2-4pm. Children ages 5-12 and their adult companions are invited to explore UMOCA exhibits and hands-on art activities. Admission is FREE.

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
