Brandon Mull Book Signing – Thursday, October 15 at 7 pm at the Viridian Center. He will be signing and reading from his new book, “The Caretaker's Guide to Fablehaven.”
Excellence in the Community Concert – Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 pm at the Gallivan Center. This free concert includes a performance by Austin Weyand Acoustic Quartet.
Snowbird Customer Appreciation Day – October 15-16. Free tram ride with a donation of 3 cans of food or hygiene items or a $6 cash donation. All food and hygiene donations will be donated to the Utah food bank. All donated money will benefit the Wasatch Adaptive Sports Program. There will also be open activities available for a free including the Mountain Coaster, Bungee Trampoline and Kids Inflatable.
Country Farm Fest (Payson) – October 9, 10, 16, 15, 16, & 17 at Dumas Farm.The is held each October. This family-produced event was created to celebrate fall, foster community involvement, and provide good, clean, country fun for the entire family. Admission is free.
Halloween Carnivore Carnival (Ogden) – October 15-17, 23-24, and 30. Explore the Dinosaur Park lit up and decorated along with games, trick or treating and more. Admission is $5 (ages 2-17) and $3 for adults.
Pumpkin Festival (Salt Lake) – Friday, October 16 at The Gateway. Grab a free pumpkin while supplies last and start painting.
Big Water Dinosaur Festival (Big Water) – October 16-18 with arts, crafts, food vendors, kids activities, inflatables and more.
Rock n Roll Pumpkins (Tooele) – October 16-17 at Benson Grist Mill. This free event includes a pumpkin walk, crafts, activities, entertainment and more.
Castle Valley Gourd Festival (Moab) – Saturday, October 17 from 10 am – 3 pm at Castle Valley Community Lot. Free admission with a parade, kids booth, music, puppet show, face painting and more.
Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta (Salt Lake) – Saturday, October 17 from 11:30 – 3:00 at Sugar House Park Pond. This free event is where you can see 600 – 1,700 pound pumpkins loaded into the pond while costumed adults attempt to row them without sinking.
Costume Swap (West Jordan) – Saturday, October 17 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Viridian Center. Recycle and reuse gently used Halloween costumes.
Free Tumbleweeds Film Screening (West Jordan) – Saturday, October 17 at 11 am at the Viridian Center. For children and youth ages 4+, see When Marnie Was There.
Pumpkin in the Park (Woods Cross) – Saturday, October 17 from 6:30 – 8 pm at Hogan Park. Display your carved pumpkins, food trucks, refreshments, spook alley and more.
