As part of Brain Awareness Week 2013, The Leonardo is hosting a Brain Awareness Day Event on Saturday, March 16 from 10 am – 3 pm. Stop by for some of the following fun activities:
- Human Brains (see and touch an actual human brain)
- Mindball (move a ball with your thoughts)
- Spiker boxes (listen to how your brain controls your body)
- Comparative anatomy models (see what other animals' brains look like)
- Concussion and drunk goggles (see why you need to wear a helmet)
- Microscopes (look at brain cells and chromosomes)
- Pipe cleaner neurons (Make souvenir models of brain cells)
Great for families & FREE and open to the public!
